Soma Rasa was formed in 1997 by brothers Bill & Dan Hazard along with Shannon Jessop. Over their career, they’ve released three albums and have shared stages with the likes of Moby, Fatboy Slim, Roni Size & Regurgitator.

In 2005, they met with legendary LA hip-hop act Digital Underground to record
the single ‘Say What You Say’, which was met with critical acclaim and lasted in
the AIR charts for 12 whole weeks.

Recorded at The Underdog, Brisbane. 22nd August 2014.

Recorded last year at 4ZZZ’s Happyfest by Andrew McLellan, the duo in question are Mino Peric and Josh Watson. Between them, they’ve played instruments with the likes of No Sister, Sewers & Dag. This particular show was quite special as the Kindergarten was created as an experimental act exclusively for Happyfest, and sees Mino & Josh taking their first forays into electronica with two turntables, a drum machine and a synth.

Airing details: Originally via Zed Digital, 8-9pm, Friday 13 February 2015.
Show production and engineering: Branko Cosic.
