Adelaide guitar heroes Horror My Friend summon the spirit of alternative rock and shoe gaze, whilst breaking new ground and embedding themselves firmly in the present. Consisting of Josh Battersby, Tom Gordon & Sam Kolesnik, the trio put out 2014’s A Million Hands EP before signing to Poison City Records and releasing their debut album Stay In / Do Nothing in 2016.

During this time, Horror My Friend have supported likes of Die! Die! Die! (NZ), Pity Sex (USA), Violent Soho, The Cribs (UK) and Swervedriver (USA), as well as performing at Groovin’ The Moo, Yours & Owls Festival, Bigsound, Blurst of Times and Poison City Weekender. The band have followed up their debut with a string of critically acclaimed singles, all released through Poison City.

Ultrafeedy are a 3 piece rock band hailing from Brisbane’s northern suburbs. Since their self titled EP release in 2014, the band have been steadily honing their craft whilst putting on energetic live performances. 2017 saw the release of their first long player Aggressive Sincerity, paying homage to the 90’s socal punk and desert rock scenes.

Celebrating their 20th year as a band this year, SixFtHick definitely have a lot to show for it. Brothers Ben & Geoff Corbett front the band with their outlandish antics and massive presence. Nobody leaves the venue without at least some of the brothers sweat on your clothing. Rounding out the band is Dan Baebler on Guitar, Tony Giacca on Bass and Fred Noonan on Drums, and amongst them have released four albums plus many singles and EP’s. They’ve toured the world many times and have even had a documentary made about their adventures. After you’ve witnessed a Sixfthick concert, it will be the only thing that you will talk about for weeks on end and beg all of your friends to see them next time they play. You can also the members of Sixfthick in various other bands such as Gentle Ben And His Sensitive Side, Shifting Sands and the Jim Rockfords, just to name a few.

Ultrafeedy are a two-piece punk rock band from the northern suburbs of Brisbane. Reuben Aptroot is on guitar and vocals and Rhys Hornby is on drums and BV’s. After originally forming in 2009, Ultrafeedy have been gigging locally since 2011, playing at Beetle Bar, X&Y, The Boundary, The Zoo, The Globe, and Ric’s among other venues. The self-titled debut EP was released in early 2013 with a follow-up to be released this year.
