Art of Sleeping are a 5 piece indie rock band who create music crafted with captivating instrumental hooks, ambient rhythmic textures, and raw emotions that are displayed through the vocal strength of their front man, Caleb Hodges. Their reputation as powerful
songwriters has been cemented with the release of their debut EP ‘Like a Thief’ and their album ‘Shake Shiver’ in mid-2015. Selling out shows around the country, this was recorded live at The Triffid in Brisbane, on the 27th of June 2015, for their voodoo tour.

Weak Boys
Recorded and Mixed by Harvey O’sullivan
Mastered by Andrew Edgson
Recorded at The Oxford Arts Factory, 30th January 2015.

Weak boys are a group of 30 something year olds who like to sing about your everyday life and the problems we all face like landlords, hangovers, and running out of wine. Their members Matt Banham, Craig Lyons, and Chris Yates have all played in other memorable bands over the years including Dollar Bar, No Through Road, and Little Lovers, which make them a super group of sorts. Their songs are a flawless mixture of bright jangly guitar pop, with subtle glum undertones that feel like the soundtrack to a Sunday afternoon after a big weekend. Weak Boys were previously featured in episode 137, however due to time constraints we did not air the entire set. This episode features their last three songs from that set.

Airing details: Originally via Zed Digital, 8-9pm, Friday 20th November 2015.
Show production and engineering: Branko Cosic.
